Welcome to Team Griffin Academy!
We are more than just a basketball academy; our program is designed to help you raise great kids. We do that by transmitting positive values through basketball. We then build a community of like-minded families around that process.
Our program emphasizes values such as humility, effort, ambition, respect and teamwork. We believe that these values are essential in not only becoming a successful basketball player but also a successful person in life.
Our coaches work closely with each athlete to develop their individual skills, pushing them to reach their full potential. We believe that basketball is a powerful tool for teaching life skills, and we use this to help our athletes grow as individuals. Our character development program focuses on leadership, communication, and personal responsibility, teaching our athletes how to be positive role models both on and off the court.
We are committed to creating a supportive and inclusive environment for all of our athletes. We believe that every athlete has the potential to succeed and we work hard to help them reach their goals. Our program is open to athletes of all skill levels, and we are dedicated to helping each athlete become the best version of themselves.

Methodology
We are not teaching basic basketball at the Academy. We are teaching our players how the best collegiate basketball programs operate on the court. It is serious work that will separate our academy from all others.
The Griffin Academy will adhere to a disciplined approach to basketball in which all players are developed according to a set of standards and philosophies that are a derivative of our staff’s experience as players and coaches at some of the country’s premier programs.
The Academy will utilize an open offensive style that focuses on precision, pressure, and core fundamentals. We will teach a defensive style that focuses on team defensive philosophies while developing players as capable defensive players. In a nutshell, transition basketball - both offensive and defensive - will be taught to our players using techniques at play today in the top collegiate leagues.
