TEAM GRIFFIN ACADEMY
As part of Team Griffin’s world-class youth basketball program, the Academy will coach, train, develop and promote basketball in Oklahoma City for boys and girls starting as young as 5 years old all the way through high school. Academy teams will compete at the appropriate competitive level and our goal is that every player and team maximize their full potential.

The Academy welcomes players of all ages and abilities and will offer varied levels of training and competition.
Academy staff will be conducting tryouts and evaluations periodically before each Academy season.
Our goal is for Academy teams to consistently compete for championships at every level.
Players and teams will be developed according to an official Team Griffin Academy methodology that will offer best in class basketball instruction and a consistent approach to the game across all age groups and levels.
The Academy will have significant resources, access to facilities,the best coaching staff in the region, and a stellar track record for developing players.

Overview
The inaugural season basketball tryouts are designed to introduce players to the Griffin Academy approach, methodology and give them the opportunity to see what the hype is all about.
Tryouts are open, but registration is required. Once in the system, choose the tryout date/time and put it on your calendar. We ask that you honor your commitment to attend tryouts on the day and time that you registered for. Our administrative team is here to help so feel free to reach out to us if you have questions or need further assistance. Once you have signed up for a tryout date then nothing else is needed for registration.
Players please come prepared to work out with the Griffin Academy Staff. Shorts, tops, socks, appropriate basketball shoes, and water bottles are required.

Programs Offered:
Rookies - kindergarten through 2nd grade - offered in Winter season
Launch - 3rd and 4th grade - offered Spring, Summer, Fall/Winter - 1 team practice and 1 skills sessions per week, local league play and tournament play
Rise - 5th-12th grade - offered Spring, Summer, Fall/Winter* - 1 team practice and 2 skills sessions per week, local league and tournament play
Flight - 5th-12th grade - offered Spring/Summer & Fall/Winter* - 2 team practices and 2 skills sessions per week, local/regional league and tournaments (varied by age/team)
*Offerings may be limited during the Fall/Winter Season in accordance with school play and court availability.
